Our architectural firm's team consists of skilled draftsman, interns, and office staff who work collaboratively to provide high-quality designs and exceptional customer service. Our draftsman create accurate drawings that bring our clients' visions to life, while our interns bring fresh perspectives and creative ideas. Our office staff ensures that the design process runs smoothly, from project management to client communication, to deliver outstanding results with every project.

Carla acquired her real estate license in 2017, and brought that knowledge to the Distinctive Homes team in 2019. On our team, she is the first point of contact with clients, and keeps them updated throughout the entire design process. Carla also oversees the day-to-day needs of the office and its personnel; and enjoys being part of the culture of a thriving, energetic architectural firm.
Initially Brenda was brought onto the Distinctive Homes team in 2021 to assist the office manager, but her role quickly evolved. Brenda now serves as an essential quality control manager between the Architect and all of our draftsmen, tracks our correspondence with external engineering firms, and still finds time for other general office administrative duties.
Mattie was hired by Distinctive Homes to oversee the permitting process for the firm's projects in January 2022. She has taken on the responsibilities of submitting our projects to various building departments, and tracking their progress throughout the entire permitting process. She truly takes pleasure in helping install order and efficiency into the process; and in being a part of the beautiful, artistic architecture of Tom Terry's Distinctive Homes.
Eric has been in the field of architecture for more than 10 years. After receiving his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in architecture from Lawrence Technological University, he was hired at Distinctive Homes. Over the years, Eric has learned many tools of the trade, and has brought a more digital experience to Distinctive Homes. His passion for architecture lies in learning cutting edge techniques and technologies to not only design projects, but present them in a way the clients can truly understand.

Austin has been in the field of architecture for more than 10 years. He started as a draftsman for Distinctive Homes in 2012. Since then, he has gained experience working as a plan reviewer for Yavapai County and the Town of Prescott Valley for close to 5 years before coming back to work for Distinctive Homes again in 2021. Austin brings a thorough knowledge of the applicable codes in both residential and commercial construction to help streamline the permitting process.

Starting as an architectural intern for Distinctive Homes in 2014, Shawn has grown into one of our more complete draftsman even taking a leading role in training our newer interns. He takes great pleasure in developing projects all the way from the idea phase, through the final product of clients' dream homes.
Originally from Taiwan, Anderson joined the Distinctive Homes team in 2019, having worked for other architectural firms specializing in custom homes prior. Andersen has more than 8 years of residential architectural experience, and is looking to further build his knowledge in detailing construction documents.
Growing up in Seoul Korea, he was always fascinated by the beautiful construction around him. When arriving in the US to work on his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University, he noticed the nuanced differences in the housing market that are not always noticeable in commercial architecture. Chunghoon joined the Distinctive Homes team in May of 2014, and has been a valued member ever since; bringing owners' dreams to life.
Receiving his Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Arizona, Ryan has been working in the field of architecture for seven years. His passion for architecture and the built environment has bled into a wide array of related and unrelated interests such as landscape architecture and ecology. It brings Ryan joy to help clients achieve their dreams in pursuit of his own.
Vincent joined the Distinctive Homes Team in 2020 after receiving a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Embry-Riddle University. His interest in architecture and residential construction influenced him to pursue a career in the world of architecture.
Grace joined the Distinctive Homes team in February of 2021 as an office manager's assistant and transitioned to an architectural intern in August of 2022. Working with the Distinctive Homes team, as well as taking construction mission trips to Mexico, have given her the opportunity to gain much experience in her pursuit of a career in interior design.
Faith grew up with an appreciation of the art of architecture, as Distinctive Homes is her family's business. She was drawn to the many Victorian houses throughout Prescott; and was motivated to join the Distinctive Homes team in the summer of 2022 by the inviting, hard working culture she has always witnessed.
